God is all powerful, but there is something he can not do--lie. When people have not done what they said they would and broken promises, you can know that you can turn toward the Lord, and He will be absolutely true to His word.
by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
