Sure, it's easy for some guy on the Internet to declare "Be Strong!", but it's not just me. The Lord has told us that. Notice in today's scripture that it not a suggestion or an option--it is a command. Like everything else He tells us, though, remember that He gives us the ability to follow His command by His presence in our lives. He doesn't send us out into battle unarmed. He gives us the weapons and body armor to fight the good fight and win--God never sets us up to fail. That's something we do pretty well ourselves.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
