There is so much on around us most days, it is very hard to stay focused. We can easily get distracted by picking up a gossip magazine or watching a mindless show about celebrities when we could be spending quality time with our family, doing work around the house, helping someone out, or, dare I say it, spending time with the Lord. I'm not the best in the world at relaxing, but I understand the value of it. How much time, though, do we spend on worthless things that we would gain much more benefit from spending on something else?
Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
