Have you ever been around someone who professes to be a Christian who always has a sour disposition? You know, someone who never laughs at jokes, is always serious, never seems to have fun? Real buzz kill, aren't they? They're also an oxymoron-a joyless Christian. Why in the world wouldn't someone be happy knowing that the most powerful being in the universe loves them? Why wouldn't you be practically giddy in knowing that He sent His son to earth to die so we could have eternal life? How could we not be excited knowing that we will get to meet God in Heaven and have all the answers to those tough questions (like why DO fools fall in love) that have bothered us for years? Sure, we all have our moments where we're not dancing with joy, but that joy should be in our hearts because the Holy Spirit brings it with Him If you love God, rejoice in His love for you! If you don't, there's still time to get in on the good stuff of following Him!
