Encouraging Scripture-Truth isn't taught by a book

Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.
Psalm 51:6 (ESV) from Bible Gateway

The concept of truth is something that is passionately debated in today's society.  How can we possibly learn truth if we don't even agree on the concept?  An increasing number of people don't believe in absolute truth, often because they have seen in preached or lectured about where it was ultimately just part of someone's personal or political agenda.  Bookstores today are full of books wanting to explain "the truth" about something to us if we supply our credit card number to purchase it.  I believe that absolute truth DOES exist, and it doesn't come with a bill.  The cost has already been paid by Jesus Christ when he sacrificed Himself on the cross.  God has and IS truth, and the best way we can learn it is directly from the source--unfiltered and untainted by someone's opinions or agenda.  The Bible is the jumping in point to develop a relationship with God--He will teach us the basics of truth in our inward being as we connect with the Holy Spirit, and there is much more to be learned when we join Him in heaven.
