Encouraging Scripture-The blessing of trials

Okay, everyone who enjoys the trials we go through in life raise your hands.  Hmmm, don't see many hands in the air.  Don't worry, mine isn't either.  I have learned, however, that they is an effective way to approach them.  Instead of lamenting (bible talk for whining) and crying out "Why me?!"  we can ask a better question--what do I need to learn from this?  As we persevere through a trial, we need to figure out how the Lord want to use it (He didn't cause it, but he will find a way to bless us through it) to cause us to grow or what does He want to teach us.  The most important lessons are usually learned through some challenge, some tribulation.  If we embrace that early on, that will only help us get the best out of a difficult situation.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
