We all know people who go through life with the victim mentality, where they act as if life happens to them and they have no control. I've also seen people use this as an excuse to not take responsibility for decisions they make. acting as if they have no real choices to make. God did not create us to be victims, and we assume that role only if we decide to do so. The Lord has made us for His light to shine upon us and His glory to be reflected from us. When we allow ourselves to be victims, we forfeit those blessings. Which would you rather be, a victim or the highly favored child of God? It's your choice to make.
