I spoke yesterday about a cliche that is wrongly attributed to God. Here's one that is correct-"It is more blessed to give than receive." That gets to the core of the heart of Christ. The most powerful man to ever walk the earth used that power to give to others. He gave healing, knowledge, and most of all, He gave love. I don't think you can do anything that more directly shows the love of Christ in your heart than to give to someone less fortunate than you, expecting nothing in return except the joy of helping a fellow human being.
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
