We are what we speak. If we say something often enough, it can become part of what we believe and who we are. What better way to test that theory than to be in a constant state of Thanksgiving. If we get in the habit of starting our day by praising God, ending it with giving Him thanks for the events of the day (even those not particularly to our liking) and give a short praise to Him at times during the day, eventually that will become an ingrained habit in our normal daily routine. The easy thing about this is that we don't have to look very hard for big and small things to give the Lord thanks for, we just need to take the initiative to actually thank Him!
It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night
